Workshop 1 - Cartoon
Pupils will explore the creation of cartoons working towards creating their own cartoon character and animating a short story.
Workshop 2 - Stop Motion
Pupils will explore Stop Motion production and create different animations: Car stop motion - Lego man stop motion - Play dough stop motion.
The Teach 24 animation workshop has six progressive levels, two KS1 levels and four KS2 levels. This enables pupils to a learn new skills and implementing their subject knowledge into the work that they produce. Please see below a breakdown of the KS2 workshops.
Animation Workshops - Scheme of Work
Each workshops lasts between 5 - 7 hours, enabling one workshops to be completed in one full day gifted and talented workshops or spread out over half a term covering PPA time.
Workshop 3 - Character Creation
Pupils will explore different animators and characters that have been developed over the past 20 years. Using this research pupil will create a computer generates character.
Workshop 4 - Computer Generated Image
Pupils will combined all skills and knowledge developed exploring the production and design of a computer generated setting.
